Strap Ties (LSTA/MTS/LTS) Twist straps provide a tension connection between two wood members. Install strap ties where tension connections are required. Commonly used as ridge ties and at wall intersections. Members must have the same number of installed nails at each end. Otherwise, the load is limited by the least number of nails in either member.
