Trade Marketing Specialist

We design and produce our structural solutions in US and EU, with several branches located around the world. In the UK, we are based in Tamworth and are well established here after 30 years of trading. We have offices at Cardinal Point with approximately 80 employees based here including office support and Production and Warehouse spaces for our manufacturing and logistics functions.
We are now looking for a full time Trade Marketing Specialist to join us on a full-time, permanent basis, working at our Tamworth site.

The Role
As the Trade Marketing Specialist, you will bring to life all those marketing initiatives strictly meant to support sales: in-shop materials, clients special projects, promotions planning and coordination, tradeshows and events, merchandizing and supporting collateral and audio visual development.
You will play a pivotal part in the marketing team operations ensuring internal and external customer needs are exceeded by building solid stakeholder relationships and providing the professional service required to propel sales forward to meet our growth targets.
Key duties will include:
- Managing of tradeshows & events from preparation stage to execution in conjunction with the Sales
- team.
- Define and deliver annual canvass promotion plan in accordance with the Marketing Manager and
- Sales Director.
- Plans BLT materials and rolls out communication materials as agreed I line with brief.
- Building stakeholder relationships with rest of business in particular the sales team.
- Merchandising project work.
- Ad hoc communications projects including contribution to our internal newsletter and other CSR
- initiatives.
About You
To be considered as the Trade Marketing Specialist, you will need:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing or business.
- Work experience as part of a graduate marketing course or otherwise.
- Ability to prioritise workload accordingly.
- Commercial acumen and target orientated
- Confidence in presenting and communicating at all levels
- Strong self-motivation with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- IT proficiency including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, CRM systems & use of Graphic Design & planograms
- software would be advantageous.
- To be ambitious and open to possible future career development
