• Install using 3.75X30mm square twist nails

• Use all specified fasteners
• Nail to underside of the noggin
• Place top flange onto header beam and nail in place
• ZS clips interlock allowing back-to-back installation on any I-joist header width. Triangular holes prevent header nails from lining up

Step-by-Step Installation

Step 1 - nail into the underside of the chord (2 per ZS clip).

Step 2 - nail the ZS Clip into the end grain of the chord of the nogging pieces (optional – increases stability during installation).

Step 3 – Slot the noggin pieces into position

Step 4 – Secure with 2 No. nails (per Z clip) down into the top of the joist chord.

Note - Z Clips can be installed back-to-back for instances with continuous noggings.
